I decided to make a new Christmas tree skirt or in this case tree pants since it is square and has a slit half way up the middle. I found this pattern from the blog Happy Zombie by Monica Solorio-Snow. It was super easy to make and looked really nice under the tree. The cats loved sleeping on it.
It's machine quilted, hand embroidered and I used velcro tabs to close it from the back.
